Topic: Every November thousands gather at Fort Benning, GA to memorialize victims of the graduates of the School of the Americas and to call for the facility to be closed. In recent years the school’s name has been changed to the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, but it is still known to many as the SOA–The School of the Assassins–because of atrocities committed by many of the graduates. Reporter Carolyn Coe recently returned from this years’ vigil and she brings us this report.
