This week John Greenman brings us another speaker from the Socialist and Marxist Studies Lecture Series at the University of Maine.  The speaker, Carolyn Eisenberg, is the 2009 Schonberger Peace and Social Justice Lecturer

Eisenberg is a scholar, activist, author and Hofstra University history professor,  as well as a founding member of Historians Against the War.  Her talk, recorded in October, is titled:  “When Scholarship and Activism Collide: Nixon, Kissinger and the Question of Needless Wars”.

She is introduced by UMaine History Professor, Dr. Elizabeth McKillen
