WERU’s Matt Murphy interviews Bundy Boit of Penobscot, about her recently-completed book entitled “Kate Hull Bundy: Diaries of a Young Pianist, 1891-1896.” Over thirty years Boit transcribed her grandmother’s diaries, written in an era in which young, female concert pianists were rather rare. This fascinating interview, which includes the reading of passages from the diaries, was aired on the “Wicked Good Music Hour” on 4/18/15.
