Terry Rockefeller, of September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, was the keynote speaker at “Building Bridges for Peace,” on Saturday at the First Congregational Church of Brewer. She works with an Iraqi civil society organization that promotes non-violence. Her talk was held in conjunction with a “Building Bridges collaborative” event, the International Day of Peace, and the statewide “Bring Our War $$ Home (and put them to work)Care-a-Van.

Today we pick up where we left off yesterday, with the keynote talks given at the Grassroots Media Conference this past weekend. The conference was cosponsered by WERU-FM and Unity College, and the talks were recorded by Matt Murphy. Today we hear from award-winning artist and activist Robert Shetterly (www.americanswhotellthetruth.org)
