Time to take another look at RFID tags, those tiny electronic chips that can take the place of bar codes, and do so much more. These days they are not only appearing on product shipping palettes, they are also showing up on the wrists of grammar school children. Don’t take too long in the restroom, kids – your tag will tell a tale on you!

In late 2003, weary of the overall failure of the US media to accurately report on the realities of the war in Iraq for the Iraqi people and US soldiers, Dahr Jamail went to Iraq to report on the war himself.His dispatches were quickly recognized as an important media resource.
