Do you find yourself behaving differently if you think you are being watched? Most people do. And where is one place many that people feel they are continually being watched? Yup – on the Web. Policy makers and legislators haven’t generally gotten themselves too upset about privacy violations online, but if those privacy concerns affect economic behavior – well, that is a different matter, isn’t it. And now there is empirical evidence that is the case. Here are the numbers.

On June 22, 2017, we hosted a Bangor Pride Week event which included lunch, networking, and the opportunity to learn more about the services Mabel Wadsworth Center offers for the LGBTQ+ community. We were thrilled to open our doors during Pride to give our community the chance to see our center and to meet our healthcare providers and staff. We offered an “LGBTQ Health Questions and Answers” program and recorded it for Reproductive Left.

Yankee Magazine Editor Mel Allen on “The Power of Community”

Longtime Yankee magazine editor Mel Allen spoke at the Alamo Theatre in Bucksport, Maine on June 21st in conjunction with that town’s “Wednesday on Main” summer series. His topic was “The Power of Community” and he commented on how that is at play in Bucksport and other towns in the region.
